Michelada
INGREDIENTS LIST
- 1 bottle (355 ml) of Mexican lager
- 1 oz (30 ml) of Monsieur Cocktail bloody mix
- ½ oz (15 ml) of fresh lime juice
- Hot sauce (to taste)
- Sea salt, cilantro, tomato and lime (for garnish)
Optionnel :
PrEparation
In a highball glass filled with ice, add all the ingredients, finishing with the beer.
Stir gently with a spoon.
Garnish with a rim of sea salt, a cherry tomato, a lime wedge and fresh cilantro.
About
This Mexican cocktail is said to date from the middle of the last century. Originally, it's simply made with beer, lime juice, Maggi sauce, hot sauce, and spices to enhance the taste of the beer. It's a simply perfect aperitif cocktail, which really deserves to be known.
