About our Bloody Bourbon & Bacon with a Bloody Mix

As you probably know, the Bloody Caesar is the favorite cocktail of Canadians, if not our national cocktail. It was invented in Calgary, Alberta, but is virtually unknown to the rest of the world, which prefers tomato juice to Clamato. The idea of using bourbon instead of traditional vodka came to Patrice during a Superbowl night because bourbon goes perfectly with anything spicy, sweet and smoky. Does that make you think of something? You're right, that's the definition of a SuperBowl lunch: sweet and sour wings, jalapeño poppers, smoked ribs, etc.
