General Informations

ARE SOLD OUT PRODUCTS RENEWED?

Absolutely! The renewal of our 250 ml format is constant. For other formats, products and accessories, supply varies. You can write to us at production@monsieur-cocktail.com for a specific restocking date.

IS THERE A PLACE TO TASTE YOUR PRODUCTS AND GUIDE ME IN MY PURCHASING DECISIONS?

Absolutely! You can go to our physical store, located at 275, avenue Saint-Sacrement, local 160, in Quebec.

If it is not possible for you to come and see us, we have provided you with tasting notes written by our team to allow you to make a more informed choice.

DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS OR OTHER ALLERGENS?

Our production kitchen is certified nut and peanut free and lactose free, so there are no products that may contain this allergen that can enter or come into contact with the production area. For our nut flavored products, we use extracts modified in the laboratory to remove the allergy-causing protein.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS GLUTEN FREE AND VEGAN?

Our products are all gluten-free and vegan, with the exception of our Bloody Mix (which we are currently revisiting to make it vegan and gluten-free).

Please also note that our Emerald Unicorn Syrup and Peach Syrup currently contain honey.

THERE SEEMS TO BE A SLIGHT DEPOSIT IN MY SYRUP, IS THIS NORMAL?

Complitly normal. We use only real, hand-filtered juices and process most of the ingredients ourselves, including infusions of local herbs, spices, citrus fruits and barks. These preparations can generate a natural oil (as is the case with sea buckthorn pulp) and leave fine traces of pulp during our double-filtration. This is why we recommend that you shake the bottle well between each use.

THE COLOR OF MY SYRUPS IS NOT THE SAME AS THE COLOR ON YOUR WEBSITE, IS THIS NORMAL?

Yes :) Our artisan products do not use any preservatives or colorings (except in the case of the unicorn syrup range). Thus, the color of a syrup could indeed vary according to the liveliness of the color of arrival of the fruits, or take a slightly darker shade during pasteurization. These color differences do not change the taste or quality of the product. Of course, if the orange syrup smells like cucumber and tastes like pizza, we ask that you let us know by phone or write to us at info@monsieur-cocktail.com so that we can put stars in your bewildered and disappointed eyes.

WHAT IS THE EXPIRY DATE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

The expiry date of our syrups (as well as the batch) is written in a reserved white space on the bottle label. Once opened, you should store your syrup in the refrigerator for the period suggested on the label (usually 6 months).

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS ONCE OPENED?

Once opened, our syrups generally keep for 2 months in the refrigerator for our syrups without added sugar and 6 months in the refrigerator for the rest of the range.

CAN I LEAVE MY SYRUP ROOM TEMPERATURE ONCE OPENED?

Although once opened, our syrups generally keep between 7 to 10 days, we always advise you to put them in the refrigerator to maximize their conservation and their taste. Of course, you can forget a bottle for a day or two on the counter without any problem and without danger for consumption (like a jam forgotten on the table). Just put your syrup back in the fridge and ask yourself an obvious question: did I party too hard yesterday?

CAN I GET A PRICE ADJUSTMENT FOR AN ITEM PURCHASED THE DAY BEFORE OR A FEW HOURS BEFORE A DISCOUNT ANNOUNCED?

Unfortunately no, we do not offer any price adjustments on products purchased before the announcement of a discount.

WHAT PRECAUTIONS HAS YOUR COMPANY TAKEN SINCE THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC OF COVID-19?

Since the arrival of the pandemic in our lives, we have implemented new health control rules in the production kitchen:

  • Mandatory hand washing and gel disinfection every hour
  • Compulsory wearing of a mask, lab coat and net
  • Complete washing and disinfection of all work surfaces at the end of each production
  • Compliance with MAPAQ standards regarding the maintenance of equipment, surfaces and hygiene
