The Art Behind Making NOA Products
Inspired by the traditional methods of making “amari” in Italy, our products combine ancestral macerations of fruits, roots, herbs and spices with modern techniques of blending natural extracts and aromas. They offer an explosion of flavor and complexity that is unmatched.
Rather than distilling a product and then removing its alcohol, we prefer to build up rather than reduce, by analyzing the tasting notes of our favorite products and then building the aromatic profile of NOA.
It is this unique method that makes NOA different. And that allows you to enjoy our products simply on ice, plain or mixed. Like the alcoholic version.
Our products are designed by a mixologist and chef with nearly 15 years of experience, and each of our bases or liqueurs have been designed and created to be used in cocktails.
Every NOA product has traces of alcohol (like juice, bread, vinegar and other common products in our everyday diet) through the use of fresh fruit and/or botanical extracts bound to an alcohol molecule to mix with our aqueous base.
Although we would like to not use preservatives, they are essential to ensure your health safety but also to allow the product an exceptional shelf life once opened.
*Please note that some of our products use a blend technique only, as hot infusion sometimes destroys the flavour profile of fragile ingredients, such as herbs and nuts.
