Classic White Sangria with Grapefruit Syrup
Ingredients :
2 cups (500ml) white wine
2 oz (60 ml) gin (herbal or citrus)
2 oz (60 ml) grapefruit syrup
¾ cup fresh or frozen pineapple cubes
4 lime wheels.
20 fresh mint leaves
1 cup sparkling water (optional)
Lime slices and fresh mint (for garnish)
Preparation :
In a large pitcher, add all ingredients (except sparkling water).
Macerate in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours.
When serving
pour half of a wine cup
fill with ice and top up with sparkling water.
Garnish with lime wedges and fresh mint.
