Apple Smash with Ginger Syrup

Ingredients :

1 oz (30 ml) cognac or apple brandy

½ oz (15 ml) ginger syrup

1 ½ tsp. tsp (2,5 ml) maple syrup

4 apple cubes

1 lemon wheel

Apple zest (for garnish)

Preparation :

In a shaker, mash the apples and the lemon wheel.

Add remaining ingredients.

Fill with ice cream and stir until your fingers get very cold.

Strain through a fine strainer into a short glass filled with ice.

Garnish with an apple zest.
